  1. I love decorating with green flowers and making the traditional corn beef and cabbage. Then spread green icing on EVERYTHING...and a little green beer. Yum

  3. We love St. Patricks day too. I have a brother named Timothy and a sister named Kathleen, so you can see we have alot of irish in us.

When our children were growing up I would buy each of the children their favorite candy bar and wrap it in silver or gold foil and put it in a round brass planter and then hide it somewhere in the house. After dinner,(which was usually irish stew and soda bread or similar,) I would give a written clue to them and they would find the 'clue' and then another 'clue' would be there to find another 'clue'. This kept on going until finally they found the 'Pot O Gold' with their candy in it. It was a very fun family tradition.

  4. Hi Debbie, a really fun project is dying white carnations green. It's so easy even kids can do it. The great thing about carnations is that they have a really long vase life, so you can enjoy this project for a long time. I've emailed you some photos and instructions for this project, I hope you enjoy them. Happy St. Parick's Day :))
